What is included in a mobility massage visit?

Mobility Massage eliminates the cause of unnecessary pain

while nourishing Health's foundation.

Every touch is guided by the wisdom of Nature,
and over 14 years of professional education and experience -

tailored to support you in embodying

that which nourishes life!

Research-based health domains we may incorporate into our assessment.

Your visit begins with our health-systems interview,
where we ask questions about your main goals for the visit, assess progress from previous sessions, affirm the positive changes you are making, and offer education that offers the most efficient path to the best Self.

This leads us into the massage treatment,

when we set you up in the treatment room.

The practitioner will leave the room, and you will disrobe to your desired level of comfort (read more). After a couple minutes. the practitioner will tap on the door to ensure you are ready. Once you have given the green light,  the practitioner will enter the room, and the mobility massage begins.

If you are new to the practice, you may be encouraged to practice

simple  techniques that enhance relaxing, improving circulation,

and the desired health shift.

You may feel the practitioner pushing, pulling,

and pointing pressure into different areas.

Some areas may feel good.

Others may be tender!

Sometimes things have to hurt a little in order to get better.

This is called sweet pain - meaning discomfort that leads to growth,

vs. the pain that tells us when to stop.

If something is going to be tender, we give fair warning,

and  encourage you to let us know if it's too much.

After the massage is complete,

the practitioner will go to the interview room

while the patient is encouraged to get up (and dressed) slowly,
noticing any changes between the start and end of the massage.

The patient meets the practitioner in the coaching / interview room,

and both  share their reflections on the session.  If there are any action steps the practitioner feels will help the patient towards better health, they will be shared at this time.

We then set a follow up appointment (if a plan is not already set),
take payment (if not already on a pre-paid plan),
and say "until next time."
